Tomorrow’s starting grid will be set directly from yesterday’s qualifying results. In the FIM EWC, points are awarded to the top five teams in qualifying:

- #37 BMW MOTORRAD WORLD ENDURANCE TEAM (BMW, Bridgestone): 4 points

For tomorrow’s race, all of the top 14 grid positions—from pole through 14th, the #11 KWT Kaedear (Kawasaki, Bridgestone)—are Bridgestone-supported teams. Later today, events such as the Night Pit Walk are still scheduled to take place at Suzuka despite the rain.
